“To love is nothing. To be loved is something. But to love and be loved, that’s everything.”

Love is truly a beautiful thing! If you’ve ever seen two people in love (and I mean really, truly, madly, deeply in love),  you’ll immediately recognize it again every time you encounter it.

While I’m lucky enough to witness love in action at weddings all the time, I am still humbled by its presence, whenever I see it.

When I first met Daniela and Tommy, it was via video chat. I was enamored with them, immediately. Daniela’s smile can light up a room so it came as no surprise that Tommy was smitten with her. Tommy was warm and engaging and their beautiful baby daughter cooed and laughed as we acquainted ourselves with one another.

Daniela and Tommy live in Las Vegas. Theirs was to be a destination wedding along the coast of San Diego.

I could hardly wait to produce their love story and capture it in a way that would bring smiles and tears for years to come. I knew that these two beautiful people had a very special love.

As you’ll see in their video, they could not have picked a more perfect day to celebrate their union. It was warm and sunny with a beautiful breeze coming off the shoreline. All the couple’s guests were from out of town; it was truly a destination wedding.

When we arrived at Tommy’s room to start filming, his eyes were brimming with emotion. He was excited and he was ready.

When Tommy talked about Daniela, it felt as though time stopped. He couldn’t wait to make her his wife. His love for her and the baby was all that could be felt.

Daniela was nervous. She wanted everything to be perfect. But she had no reason for trepidation. She was STUNNING! Once she put on her gown, it all became real for her. She was about to become one with Tommy.

As she softly rocked their precious daughter, it was so clear that she had waited for this day for a long, long time.

The rest as they say, is history.

The ceremony was beautiful.

The reception was a blast. Daniela’s Italian family and Tommy’s Mexican family blended as if they were one. The couple added so many memorable moments including dances, music and dessert traditions that paid homage to their respective cultures.

Our friends at “Perfectly Made Weddings” did an exceptional job of helping coordinate a day that will be remembered forever.
